AI is becoming too common. Already a lot of images are AI created and it is so obvious. The overuse of AI will only lead to everything looking and sounding the same. Furthermore, AI is not always accurate and often generates odd images and information. Once AI gets to a point where it becomes smart enough to be independent we will have a Battlestar Galactica issue on our hands. I thought humans were smart enough to figure out that the convenience of a tool should not override the harms of a tool but I was wrong.

AI is this new craze that will eventually do more harm than good in the long run. We can already see small instances where people are starting to defer to AI. School systems having to monitor if work is completed by Chat, less opportunity for jobs, and the way AI still seems to be very incorrect on basic facts. I am not a fan of the exploration of Artificial Intelligence. The name itself and the word “artificial” should already be a glaring red flag.

Once we started making real gains on AI, it's like we sailed past any discussions about purposes, accountability, intentions, risks... we just went full-steam ahead and our greed and egos took over.
