I think artificial intelligence can be beneficial for important areas, such as crime solving and developments in medical research. However, artificial intelligence is currently inadequate to aid in these areas, which is I support developing artificial intelligence to the best of its ability.

I think artificial intelligence does have the capacity to be very useful but I'm skeptical that the businesses developing them will actually do much besides line their own pockets. I don't trust the technology will be used for the benefit of the world. It will probably just be used to put people out of a job.

I use AI on a daily basis both in business and in personal life. It has allowed my business to speed up the process of code development and debugging, as well as assist with our sales & marketing strategy. It has not replaced any staff at our business, but has made our staff more efficient and effective at their job, while reducing some of the menial required work. On a personal level, I have used it to help research best practices on a number of different topics (e.g. regenerative agriculture, livestock husbandry, cooking, etc.) that has saved an enormous amount of time over having to search and digest information from individual sites.

For me, it depends on what AI is being further developed for. AI should help with more monotous, repetitive tasks, rather than creative work like art.
