With proper constraints, artificial intelligence (AI) is a valuable resource, allowing better medical diagnoses and, perhaps, better treatments to save lives. And so I do support further development of AI, it needs to be done in a manner that is helpful for us as humans, and not for evil. AI can allow humans to work far more efficiently. In just a few seconds, it can do the grunt work that can take a human hours/days to complete. However, in my experience with AI, the product typically needs some human attention in the end for fine tuning. In partnership with AI, we can do more work in less time thus advance more rapidly.
