Recently, I conducted some testing with a phone AI application that featured a female AI voice. The realism of the voice was astonishing and truly impressive. Initially, I intended to simply assess the sound quality, but I found myself engaged in a conversation with the AI for a duration of 15 minutes.

I have mixed feelings about AI. I want to believe AI will be used for the greater good, but we already have AI false videos circulating online. In some cities, there have been people getting fake AI phone calls of there loved ones voices in extreme distress- trying to get money from the people they are calling by making them think they are holding there loved ones for ransom.

I think there is a lot of good when it comes to AI. I like it's usage for helping human beings accomplish work and tasks. I personally use it for creative recipes and mixology. I am also a writer. It helps me to review my work when my friends are not available. I do think there is a detriment when it comes to making people more reliant. I also think there is something to be mentioned regarding how advanced AI pictures are. This can have horrific consequences for women in regards to people generating non consensual pornographic photos.

I think we're putting AI in the wrong areas basically. Ai was supposed to do the less desirable/more dangerous jobs for humans, not take away from human creativity. There's smaller versions of AI we use everyday like Google Maps and autocorrect that are incredibly helpful, and we could be using these AI tools for deep sea exploration or landmine detection but we're using them to "write" scripts and "create" art. When it's used in a way that actually benefits humanity, it's great; when not, I wish it would burn.
