The Snworb

The Snworb

Lila Heathko: (to herself, murmuring) "Maroons have upped their game. This encryption is unlike anything we've seen before. It’s almost... musical."

Dr. Selene Hartwell: (entering the room, curious) "Musical?"

Lila Heathko: (nodding) "Yes, look at this sequence. It follows a pattern similar to a musical scale. Each play might be encoded to a specific frequency. If we can crack the frequency, we might decrypt their entire playbook."

Selene leans in, studying the intricate patterns.

Dr. Selene Hartwell: "Interesting. It’s like each note represents a player movement. Ingenious, but we can crack it. Let’s bring in some audio engineers."

As they dive deeper into the analysis, the door bursts open. Maker Bayfield rushes in, a look of urgency on his face.

Maker Bayfield: "Lila! Selene! You have to see this."

He holds up an old, worn playbook with a name etched on the cover: Dutch Savib.

Lila Heathko: (eyes widening) "Is that...?"

Maker Bayfield: (nodding) "The Ghost Playbook. Treselym found it in the basement."

The atmosphere shifts, a sense of awe and curiosity filling the room. Jack places the playbook on the table. It’s dusty, its pages yellowed with age, complex diagrams can be seen beneath the cracked cover.

Dr. Selene Hartwell: (whispering) "The Ghost Plays. Dutch's untested strategies. Players of old said they were nearly impossible to decipher."

Lila’s fingers turn the pages delicately, her eyes scanning the detailed illustrations of player movements, surrounded by cryptic notes and symbols.

Lila Heathko: "Look at this one. 'Eclipse Sweep.' It must only be practiced during a lunar eclipse. And something else, there's code here."

Maker Bayfield: (grimly) "We'll need these plays this season. The Maroons are ahead of us, and we need every advantage we can get."

Dr. Selene Hartwell: "Agreed. But we have to be careful. Dutch was brilliant, but he was also... unpredictable. These plays could change everything – if we can understand them."

Lila Heathko: "Besides Treselym, who else knows about this?"

Maker Bayfield: "No one. He just found it, and I brought it right here."

Dr. Selene Hartwell: (firmly) "No one else can know. Not yet. We work on this in secret and introduce the plays when the time is right."

A heavy silence falls over the room as they contemplate the implications. The stakes have never been higher, and this season trust is a precious commodity.

Maker Bayfield: "Alright. We keep this quiet for now. And we keep looking for our mole."
