I am writing a book about sports ipseology. I will examine how Americans use sports - especially professional sports fandom - to define their personal identity. I imagine the book will be published in November 2026. I hope you will find it interesting.

2025-01-17: I considered titles. I currently like: Sports Ipseology and the DASEIN Data, or Who, When, Why Admit to Cleveland Browns Fandom? I also went down a rabbit hole comparing data repositories like Zenodo and Dataverse. I usually use OSF, but it can be clunky. TIL a lot of people host datasets on Kaggle. Did you know Kaggle is owned by Google?
